On May 27, the Pensacola Blue Wahoos will play baseball in a park that was old before most of modern Pensacola existed.

Rickwood Field in Birmingham, Alabama hosts its annual game that afternoon, a 12:30 p.m. matchup between the Wahoos and the Birmingham Barons. Built in 1910, Rickwood is the oldest professional baseball park in the United States, still occasionally hosting real games.

The Barons schedule one game there each year. It will be the Blue Wahoos' first appearance at Rickwood. The park has hosted Babe Ruth and Willie Mays and hundreds of Negro Leagues games. Its wooden grandstands and manual scoreboard are unlike anything in modern minor league baseball.
