This is one of the calmer entries on a spring event calendar that leans heavily toward loud and crowded. Crowds build by noon but rarely reach the density of the Crawfish Festival or a peak Bands on the Beach night. The Boardwalk layout gives people room to move.
Participating artists range from fine art painters and photographers to ceramics and jewelry makers, mostly regional, with a handful of traveling artists who work the Gulf Coast festival circuit. Wine options typically include Florida producers and a few out-of-state selections. Dogs are welcome, which says something about the event's character.
