The plan to bring Keyla Richardson home if she advances on American Idol now has a printed schedule. The City of Pensacola released the full logistics for the May 6 hometown parade and concert on April 30, including ticket release times, the parade route and what to leave at home.

The whole event hinges on Richardson's performance May 4. If voters land her in the final three, the city activates the schedule it has been planning for weeks. If not, the May 6 events do not happen.

Tickets

Standing-room tickets for Hunter Amphitheater, located behind Wahoos Stadium, become available at 10 a.m. Friday, May 1, with a four-ticket maximum per request. Amphitheater holders will be in a standing area with an ADA-accessible section, and they will be able to walk over to Wahoos Stadium for restrooms and concessions.

Overflow tickets for Wahoos Stadium release at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 2, with a six-ticket maximum. Stadium ticket holders will see the concert on the Wahoos video board and will not have a direct view of the stage. Stadium holders cannot enter the amphitheater area. The city is directing fans to keylafest2026.com for ticket links and updates.

The May 6 schedule

The parade begins at 4 p.m. on South Palafox at Cedar Street and continues two blocks south toward Plaza de Luna. At the end of the route, a short ceremony will hand Richardson a key to the city. From there, a second-line procession leads pedestrians to Hunter Amphitheater. Concert gates open at 5:30 p.m., the show starts at 6:30 p.m., and the city says it goes on rain or shine.

Mayor D.C. Reeves framed the operation as both support for Richardson and a citywide moment. "We know that Keyla still needs the support of everyone in Pensacola to make it to the final three," Reeves said in the city's announcement. "Our team has been working hard to make sure that we have plans in place and ready to go once she makes the finals."

What not to bring

The amphitheater and stadium ban blankets, chairs, coolers, bags, outside food and beverages, and pets. Concessions will be sold inside the stadium. The city is encouraging fans to wear black and yellow as part of what it calls the "Keyhive."

The American Idol finale airs from Hollywood on May 11 on ABC.
