The stadium opened in 2012 on Pensacola Bay at the foot of the Community Maritime Park. The view from the upper concourse looking back toward the water is one of the legitimately great sightlines in minor league baseball, the bay running behind the field, the bridge visible in the distance, the sky doing its Gulf Coast thing in the hour before sunset. The park has won multiple architectural and fan experience awards since it opened. The praise is earned.
The Wahoos are Cincinnati Reds' Double-A affiliate. Players at this level are either on their way up or finding their ceiling, the baseball is better than people who have only seen the stadium expect. Double-A is two steps from the majors. The pitching and the defense are legitimate.
Blue Wahoos Stadium is at 351 W. Cedar Street, downtown Pensacola, next to Maritime Park. Parking in the adjacent lots and along surrounding streets. Full 2026 home schedule at milb.com/pensacola.
